Budtender Moment: Mossy Smoke Vape Cart Review

“Some strains lift you up. Mossy Smoke brings you home.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. I want to talk to you about a strain known as Mossy Smoke. Fall doesn’t officially begin when the leaves turn. It begins the moment Mossy Smoke hits the coil. And that first inhale tastes like you just stepped into a damp forest where the earth remembers everything you’ve ever survived. There’s nothing that describes the season quite like this strain, which is deeply earthy, moss‑heavy, forest‑floor realness that feels like a Southern autumn walked right up to your ribcage and said, “Baby, breathe.”

Mossy Smoke isn’t a widely catalogued strain. Therefore, there are no exact lineage. Because the name is like a regional strain name. However, we trace it by its behavior. Which is typically a 50/50 hybrid strain in its effects. Best guestimates for this strain might be this combination. OG Kush is for that grounding, earthy backbone. Northern Lights is for the pine, the calm, the moss‑in‑the‑lungs energy. Possible grand parent genetics are  Chemdawg (from the OG side) – subtle fuel, subtle funk. Afghani (from the NL side) – resin production, body calm, forest‑floor density. This is the kind of lineage that grows best in places where the soil has stories and the humidity has opinions.

Even in distillate form, Mossy Smoke keeps its identity. The top terpenes include Myrcene, Caryophyllene. Humulene. and Pinene. Distillate carts mute some nuance, but Mossy Smoke refuses to be quiet. It’s the taste of walking through a forest that’s older than your grandmother’s grandmother.

Mossy Smoke tends to support anxiety relief (that forest‑floor grounding), muscle relaxation, stress reduction, mild pain relief, mood stabilization, and evening wind‑down. It’s the strain you reach for when your brain feels like a cluttered porch, and you need to sweep it clean.

Every grow is different. Soil, humidity, altitude, curing style, and even the grower’s mood can shift everything including terpenes, color, density, effects. A Mossy Smoke grown in Arkansas will not be the same Mossy Smoke grown in Mississippi or Missouri. Cannabis is a plant, not a product. It carries its environment in its body. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I root myself in what is real, and I rise from what once buried me.”

Budtender Moment: Black Orange Strain Review

“Black Orange is that friend who shows up with snacks, good stories, and absolutely no drama.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Let the smoke curl up like a quiet little sermon. Today’s Budtender Moment is all about Black Orange. A strain that walks into the room wearing citrus cologne and a velvet-black jacket. And ready to tell you exactly who it is without raising its voice.

Black Orange is a balanced hybrid. It’s a cross between Blackberry Kush x Orange Cream. Blackberry Kush is a cross between Afghani × Blackberry. Orange Cream is a cross between Orange Juice × Ice Cream Cake. This family tree is basically a citrus orchard planted next to a berry patch with a kush hammock swinging between them. It sits right in that sweet middle lane. Not too couch‑melty. Not too head‑floaty. It’s the strain you reach for when you want your brain to hum and your body to sigh at the same time.

Black Orange tastes like someone zested a fresh Valencia orange over a bowl of mixed berries. Then added a tiny whisper of earth and vanilla. Expect the flavors of bright citrus, sweet berry, creamy undertones, and a little herbal shadow on the exhale. The terpene profile has Limonene, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Linalool. Together they create a terpene choir that sings “relax but stay awake enough to enjoy it.”  Medical Benefits help with stress, anxiety, mild to moderate pain, mood, creative focus muscle tension, and a gentle relaxation without full sedation. It’s the strain that says, “I got you,” without knocking you out.

Please keep in mind that depending on differences in grows depends on what area of the country it is grown in. Ther will also be slight differences depending on when, where the plant was grown. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I welcome balance into my body. Clarity into my mind. And sweetness into my day.

Budtender Moment: Frankenshiz Strain Review

“Frankenshiz is proof that even the strangest parts of ourselves can come together and make something unforgettable.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Today’s Budtender Moment is all about Frankenshiz. A strain stitched together from wild genetics, loud terpenes, and the kind of personality that walks into the room before you do.

Frankenshiz is a balanced hybrid. But it leans into its indica funky side thanks to its ancestry. Growers often describe its lineage as Frankenstein × Shiznit. Frankenstein comes from OG Kush lineage. Shiznit is a cross between Blueberry × White Widow. This is one of those strains where the family tree looks like it was drawn by a mad scientist with a Sharpie and a dream.

Frankenshiz is a full sensory event consisting of funky berry sweetness, earthy kush undertones, and a little diesel on the exhale. And that unmistakable “Franken” funk that is herbal, spicy, and just a touch chaotic. It’s the strain equivalent of a thrift-store leather jacket that somehow smells like blueberries and rebellion.

This strain’s personality comes from the three dominant terpenes of Linalool, Beta-Caryophyllene, and Alpha-Pinene. Together, they create a vibe that’s both soothing and alert. Kind of like a spa day in the middle of a forest rave. Patients and recreational users often report relief with stress, anxiety, mild to moderate pain, muscle tension, mood imbalance, and creative block (Frankenshiz is a muse with a megaphone). The balanced hybrid nature makes it versatile for daytime creativity or nighttime decompression, depending on your dose and your intentions.

Please keep in mind that depending on differences in grows depends on what area of the country it is grown in. There will also be slight differences depending on when, where the plant was grown. Same strain, same genetics. But the environment shapes the plant like a Southern grandma shapes a child with strong opinions and noticeable results. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I honor every part of my story. The sweet, the funky, the wild, and the wise. And I grow stronger because of it.

Budtender Moment: Papaya Deadhead OG Strain Review

“Peace isn’t always quiet. Sometimes it’s tropical, sticky, and smells like OG.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Today we’re calling in a strain that walks into the room like it already knows the ancestors signed off on it. And the strain name is Papaya Deadhead OG. This one doesn’t tiptoe. It glides in barefoot. Smelling like tropical fruit and old‑school kush wisdom. And ready to sit on your porch swing and tell you the truth you didn’t know you needed.

Papaya Deadhead OG is an Indica‑dominant hybrid. It’s the kind that melts the shoulders. Hushes the static. And reminds your nervous system it can unclench now. Papaya Deadhead OG is a lineage that feels like two sides of the same family reunion. It’s a cross between Papaya x Deadhead OG. Papaya is a cross between Mango × Citral #13. Deadhead OG is a cross between Chemdawg 91 × SFV OG Kush. Together, they create a strain that’s both hammock‑soft and spiritually assertive. Papaya Deadhead OG tastes like ripe papaya and mango nectar. A squeeze of lime. Kush earthiness. And a whisper of diesel on the exhale. It’s tropical vacation meets back‑porch philosophy.

The top terpenes in this strain are Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene. Together they create a warm, fruity, slightly spicy aura that feels like a weighted blanket with a sense of humor. Medical Benefits for this strain include stress, anxiety, muscle tension, chronic pain, sleep, appetite stimulation, and mood stabilization. This is the strain you call when your brain is doing too much, and your body is doing too little.

Please keep in mind that depending on differences in grows depends on what area of the country it is grown in. Ther will also be slight differences depending on when, where the plant was grown. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I release what drains me. I welcome what softens me. I choose rest without apology.

Budtender Moment: Pineapple Mojito Strain Review

“Some joys don’t wait for summer. They show up with citrus, confidence, and a questionable playlist.”

– This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today we’re talking about a strain so tropical, so chaotic, and so disrespectfully refreshing that it walked into my house wearing flip‑flops, sunglasses, and a Bluetooth speaker blasting Bad Bunny. Welcome to another Budtender Moment! Where the weed tastes like vacation, smells like poor decisions, and hits like a fruity breeze that absolutely did not ask for permission to rearrange your afternoon.

The moment I cracked open the jar of Pineapple Mojito, the aroma slapped me with the exact energy of a bartender who’s already judged your drink order and decided you need therapy. It smelled like pineapple, mint, lime, and the kind of optimism I only feel after someone else pays the bill. This strain didn’t just smell tropical. It smelled like a cruise ship that got lost, found itself, and came back with a tattoo.

Pineapple Mojito is usually a cross between Pineapple OG × Mojito, which explains why it tastes like a fruit salad that learned how to flirt. Pineapple OG brings the juicy sweetness, Mojito brings the minty citrus sass, and together they create a hybrid that feels like a beach vacation you didn’t earn but absolutely needed. The flavor? Imagine a pineapple wearing lip gloss. Imagine a mojito that got promoted. Imagine a fruit cup that said, “I’m the main character now.” That’s Pineapple Mojito.

The effects hit like a warm island breeze telling you to unclench your jaw, hydrate, and stop texting people who drain your spirit. It’s uplifting, giggly, and just chaotic enough to make you reorganize your pantry alphabetically while humming reggaeton.

Top terpenes often include Limonene, Myrcene, and Ocimene, which is basically the Holy Trinity of “I’m chill, but also slightly unhinged in a fun way.” Patients report relief from stress, mood swings, tension, and that specific kind of irritability that comes from dealing with people who say, “we need to circle back.”

Pineapple Mojito is the strain you smoke when you want to feel like a fruity breeze drifting through your responsibilities with a drink in your hand and absolutely no intention of answering emails. It’s sweet, it’s silly, and it hits like a tropical auntie who smells like sunscreen and good advice. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I allow myself to be refreshed, restored, and joyfully unbothered. I deserve sweetness, sunshine, and peace.

Budtender Moment: Banana Latte Strain Vape Cart Review

“Some flavors don’t just taste good. They remind you who you are.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Today we’re stepping into the warm, creamy dreamscape of one of my favorite flavor lanes on earth, banana. And when a vape cart leans into that banana latte fantasy, you already know I’m clocking in spiritually, emotionally, and botanically.

Banana Latte is a slightly leaning indica hybrid that keeps the mind bright enough to finish a sentence, a thought, or a grocery list. It is a cross between Banana OG × Café Mocha. Banana OG is a cross between OG Kush × Banana Kush. Café Mocha is a cross between Chocolope x Mochalope. Together they create a strain that tastes like your favorite barista is also your plug.

If a banana milkshake and a caramel latte had a baby and raised it in a warm greenhouse. This would be it. The flavors are creamy banana, light roasted coffee, sweet vanilla foam, and a whisper of nutty earth. That “Oh wait. This is delicious” moment that hits right behind the eyes.

The terpene profile Myrcene Caryophyllene Limonene. Some batches may also show Humulene for that earthy, roasted note that pairs beautifully with the coffee vibes. Patients use this strain for stress relief, body relaxation, mood elevation, emotional softening, mild pain, tension reduction creative focus with a warm, cozy mental glow.

And as always every grow, every region, every cultivator shifts the expression. Different soil, different sun, and different hands. And suddenly the banana leans sweeter. The coffee leans darker. Or the body effects lean heavier. That’s the magic of cannabis. The plant is alive. Responsive. And shaped by the land that raised it. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I welcome sweetness, warmth, and ease into my body. I allow myself to soften without losing my spark.

Budtender Moment: Oreoz Strain Review

“Some strains whisper. Oreoz leans in. Hands you a cookie. And tells you the truth you’ve been avoiding.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Let the ancestors lean in while we talk about a strain that tastes like dessert but hits like a truth‑telling auntie at Thanksgiving. This Budtender Moment Is dedicated to as strain that’s has a name that instantly makes me think about things I liked growing up. The strain name is Oreoz.

Oreoz is an indica‑dominant hybrid. It’s the kind that looks sweet. Smells sweet. And then folds you like a church bulletin when the sermon runs long. It is a cross between Cookies & Cream x Secret Weapon. Cookies & Cream is a cross between Starfighter x Girl Scout Cookies (GSC). Secret Weapon is a cross between Chemdawg x Alien Technology. Oreoz is basically the grandchild who inherited the sweet tooth, the attitude, and the ability to nap anywhere.

Oreoz tastes like someone melted a s’more over a diesel engine in the best possible way. The flavor consists of toasted marshmallow, chocolate cookie crumble, sweet cream, earthy gas, and a hint of pepper on the exhale, It’s dessert with a backbone.

The terpene profile is  Caryophyllene, Limonene, Myrcene, and  depending on the grow, you may also see Linalool or Humulene peeking through. Budtender Moment: Cobra Chi #2 Strain Review

“Legalize it? I already did-in my living room.”

-Unknown

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain that brings back the fond memories of the 1980’s. And how many of us Gen X individuals could ever forget the movie Karate Kid? Mr. Miyagi, Daniel Laruso, and his redemption from being the one who was bullied. To the one who showed us what hard work, trust and discipline could accomplish by the ultimate underdog.

Cobra Chi #2 is a 70/30 sativa-dominant hybrid that is a cross of Margwa #1 x Chimera #3. Margwa #1 is a strain that is not publicly documented. Therefore, I don’t have a direct lineage for this strain. Chimera #3 is a balanced hybrid cross between Chimera x White Truffle. Looking at these genetics Margwa #1 must have a sativa-dominance in its genetics somewhere.

The top terpenes for this strain are D-Limonene, Linalool, Myrcene, and Caryophyllene. Patients report relief from conditions such as chronic stress, chronic pain, depression, migraines, mood swings, ADD/ADHD, headaches, and nausea. This strain, in my opinion, is very mild. And it is a strain that can be enjoyed by all. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I water myself from the bottom up to grow deep roots like a strong mother plant.

Budtender Moment: Permanent Marker Strain Review

“How many stoners does it take to screw in a lightbulb? None, we got lighters.”

-Unknown

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain that I’m grouping under 80’s names. And what Gen X’er doesn’t remember sniffing the permanent  markers accidentally left around the room by the teacher. Ok, maybe it was a little strange to those who never did this. But we Gen X’ers sniffed random markers as part of our childhood daily life.

The very first thing I noticed about this strain is that familiar aroma and taste of diesel fumes. So maybe it doesn’t exactly smell like the highly sought after ink smell but it’s one that you will remember without a doubt. The genetic line is lengthy so pay attention. This strain is a 70%/30% indica-dominant strain. The genetic cross is Biscotti x Jealousy x Sherbet BX strains. Biscotti is a cross between Gelato 25 x Sour Florida OG. Jealousy is a cross between Gelato 41 x Sherbet BX1. And finally, BX strain are a backcross Sherbet strain. And a backcross strain is s hybrid strain that is bred back to a parent strain. The main reasons this is done that I will simplify is related to particular strain trait reinforcement and genetic stability. There are other reasons but those are just a couple.

The major terpenes in this strain are Myrcene, Limonene, Caryophyllene. Patients report from such conditions as chronic fatigue, PMS, cramps, depression, mood swings, chronic stress, and PTSD. I had this strain as a vape cart. But if you like the taste of diesel you’ll sure to love this strain and its potency. This strain was voted Leafly Strain of the Year in 2023. Keep blazin’!

Affirmation: I inhale peace and exhale stress.

Budtender Moment: Gushers Strain Review

“Gushers is the strain that reminds you joy doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s just fruit‑flavored and waiting on you.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Let the smoke rise like it’s clocking in for its shift. Today we’re calling in the spirit of Gushers. It’s the strain that tastes like somebody melted a bag of fruit snacks on the dashboard of a ’98 Corolla and somehow made it holy.

Gushers is a 60/40 indica-hybrid. Not the kind that can’t make up its mind. This one knows exactly who it is. It’s a laid‑back, fruit‑forward, body‑melting hybrid. And walks into the room wearing Crocs and still pulls focus. This strain is a cross between Gelato #41 × Triangle Kush. Gelato #41 is a cross between Sunset Sherbet × Thin Mint GSC. And Triangle Kush is a cross between Emerald Triangle OG × Hindu Kush. Gushers tastes like fruit snacks, sweet berry syrup, tropical candy, and a whisper of earthy kush on the exhale. It’s the strain equivalent of someone handing you a Capri Sun and saying, “You look like you need this.”

The terpene profile is Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Linalool. Together they create a vibe that’s equal parts candy aisle and meditation pillow. Patients reach for this strain to help with chronic stress, anxiety, mild to moderate pain, mood swings, appetite support, and end‑of‑day decompression. This is a strain that doesn’t rush you. It just hands you a blanket and says, “Baby, breathe.”

Please keep in mind that depending on differences in grows depends on what area of the country it is grown in. Ther will also be slight differences depending on when, where the plant was grown. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I allow sweetness to find me. I soften. I settle. And I let my body remember ease.
