“Some medicines whisper. Some medicines bite. Frog Venom does both.”

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Let the air thicken into that humid, green hush. The kind that settles right before a summer storm or a family secret. Today, we’re stepping into the murky magic of Toad Venom. It is a strain that doesn’t just hit. It transforms. This is the cart you reach for when you want to feel like you’ve been baptized in a bayou. And reborn with new priorities.
Toad Venom is an indica-dominant hybrid that is a cross between Animal Face x Sin Mintz. Animal Face is a cross between Face Off OG x Animal Mints. Sin Mintz is a cross between GSC x Blue Power. There is also another variation to this strain that is a cross between Venom OG x All Gas OG. It is one of those strains that feels like it was bred by someone who knows plants. Knows chaos. And knows exactly how to make a hybrid that walks the line between mystical and mischievous. Together they create a strain that feels like a creature of the wetlands which is grounded, glowing, and just a little dangerous in the best way.
The flavor profile consists of a gassy citrus-lime, minty and sweet peach notes. Major terpenes in this strain are Limonene, B-Myrcene, B-Caryophyllene. Other terpenes that can be seen in this strain are A-Pinene, B-Pinene, Bisabolol, and Humulene. Patients seek out this strain for medical benefits that include relief from stress, anxiety, chronic pain, mood support, insomnia, and creativity.
And as always every grower, every region, and every curing method rewrites the story. Toad Venom in the Pacific Northwest is not Toad Venom in the Deep South. Altitude, humidity, soil microbes, and even the hands that trim it all shift the final expression. Cannabis is alive. Cannabis responds. Cannabis speaks the language of the land. Toad Venom is a regional dialect in plant form. A reminder that cannabis is not manufactured. It’s cultivated. Coaxed. And influenced by the land itself. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’
Affirmation: I honor the parts of myself that move slowly. Breathe deeply. And rise from the mud shining.
“What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have never been discovered.”

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a refreshing strain called Sorbet Haze.
Sorbet Haze is considered an indica-dominant hybrid. It is believed to be a phenotype of Sunset Sherbert. And there is also an idea that this strain may contain the genetics of Purple Push Pop x Jealousy, Ice Cream Cake x Sunset Sherbet Bx1 x Jealousy F2, or Sherbert Bx1 x Gelato 41. However, the exact genetics are unknown. The minute the inhale hits you, it’s nothing but a fruity creaminess that invades your taste buds.
Top Terpenes for this strain are B-Caryophyllene, Linalool, Limonene, Myrcene, and Humulene. Patients report relief from anxiety, stress, and PTSD. This strain is very similar to the strain Triple Scoop. But this one is an all-around great tasting and nice potency. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects, terpenes and genetics will slightly differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’
Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain that has one of the most flavorful profiles that I’ve tried thus far. Standby. Because I have a lot of information to cover. And the people in the Pride community who are in throughly relationships, this one’s for you. The name of the strain is Triple Scoop.
Triple Scoop is a 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid strain. It’s lineage is a three way cross between Super Silver Haze x Grape LA x Sorbet. Super Silver Haze is a 3-way cross between Skunk x Northern Lights x Haze. Talk about grassroots genetics. Grape La is a cross between Grapefruit x LA Confidential. Sorbet strains are a cross of 4 sativa strains that are Mexican, Colombian, Thai, and South Indian strains that are not identified. There is also another version that has more of the indica effects are a cross between Gelato #33 x 2 Scoops. From the rip you get the strong taste of fruit. The actual flavor profile is a sweet and creamy vanilla combined with fresh berries and citrus fruit. But I felt like I was full face down in a fruit bowl.
The top terpenes are B-Myrcene, B-Caryophyllene, and Linalool. Patients report relief from stress, anxiety, depression, minor aches and pains, inflammation, nausea, appetite loss, fatigue, and mood swings. The effects are very relaxing. But not too heavy to cause ‘couch lock’ at moderate levels. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’
Affirmation: If my day starts with a wake and bake, it has to be a good day.
Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain that goes along with Mental Health Awareness Month. And its name is Plum Crazy.
Plum Crazy is an 80/20 indica-dominant hybrid that is a cross between Original Blueberry x Purple Afghani. Original Blueberry is a cross between Afghani x Thai. And Purple Afghani is a cross between Afghani x Purple Kush. This strain has a very distinct blueberry taste. That also has the capability to mellow you out.
Top terpenes in this strain are B-Myrcene, B-Caryophyllene, and Limonene. Patients report relief from conditions like PTSD, insomnia, chronic fatigue, appetite loss, and nausea. Despite it’s indica dominance, it’s not crazy strong. But I would still use it in moderation. For me, any strain that has Blueberry genetics works great on PTSD for me. I like it a little stronger, but this one is still very good medicine. This is a nice relaxing strain that’s perfect right before bedtime. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’
Affirmation: I find comfort and tranquility within myself.

Harlequin (CBD-heavy)
(Colombian Gold × Thai Landrace × Swiss Landrace)
This one is for the folks who want calm without the THC rollercoaster. Gentle, soothing, and reliable.
Experts across 2025–2026 keep repeating the same gospel about these strains. They have moderate THC. They have CBD or balanced THC:CBD ratios. And calming terpenes like linalool, myrcene, and beta-caryophyllene. If the strain sounds like it belongs at a rave, don’t smoke it before a dentist appointment.
Anxiety is dramatic. Give it the wrong sativa and it will start narrating your doom like it’s auditioning for a true-crime documentary. You’ve spent enough years letting your nervous system run around like a toddler with a Capri Sun. Enough nights lying awake replaying conversations from 2008. Enough mornings waking up already bracing for imaginary disasters.
Give it the right hybrid, though, and suddenly your brain is like, “Maybe we can go to Walmart today.” Let your anxiety know, “I’m choosing peace today. And the strain that helps me keep it. It says, “Sit down. Mama’s medicating.” Choosing the right strain for anxiety isn’t just self‑care. It’s a whole ritual, a boundary, a declaration that your peace is no longer up for negotiation. Not in this house. Not with these herbs. Not with these ancestors watching.
This year, we’re choosing strains that soften the edges. Quiet the spirals. And remind your brain that it is, in fact, allowed to unclench. We’re choosing hybrids that don’t betray you. Classics that never stopped loving you. Terpenes that understand the assignment. We’re choosing calm on purpose.
Anxiety may be loud, but you? You are louder. You are older, wiser, and fully prepared to sage-smoke-pray-meditate your way into a softer season. Your peace is not fragile. Your calm is not accidental. Your healing is not a rumor. It’s a lifestyle. And every time you pick a strain that supports your spirit instead of sabotaging it, you’re telling the universe, “I choose me. I choose quiet. I choose ease. And I’ll be damned if anxiety gets the last word.”
Now gather your rolling tray, your lighter, your intention, and your boundaries. Take a breath so deep your ancestors nod in approval. And then with all the authority of a Southern auntie who has lived through some things. Let that anxiety know, “I’m calm on purpose. I’m peaceful by design. And I’m medicating accordingly. Now hush.” Stage cleared. Peace secured. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’
Affirmation: I honor my calm like a sacred ritual. I choose what soothes me. Supports me. And keeps my spirit steady. Anxiety does not run this house. I do.
