Budtender Moment: Dank OG Concentrate Strain

“Some strains relax you. Dank OG unplugs you and plugs you back in at 50% brightness.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Crack your knuckles. Clear your schedule. And maybe put your phone on Do Not Disturb. This one’s thick, sticky, and spiritually committed to humbling you. Today, I want to talk to you about a strain that represents the funk that we will be discussing this month. And it’s a strain that’s concentrated called Dank OG.

Dank OG as a concentrate is not here to play. Flower Dank OG already walks around with that “I’ve seen some things” energy. But once you turn it into wax, badder, rosin, or shatter, it becomes the strain equivalent of a Southern auntie who takes off her earrings before she speaks. This is old‑school gas turned into a modern‑day thunderclap.

Dank OG comes from the legendary OG Kush line. The backbone of half the gas-heavy strains people swear by today. The lineage for this strain is OG Kush × Unknown Kush Hybrid. This is the family tree of strains that smell like they were raised in a garage. Taught discipline by a mechanic. Is blessed by a pine forest. And has that classic “sit down before you fall down” energy.

The terpene Profile consists of Myrcene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, and Pinene. Concentrates amplify everything. The aroma, the flavor, the punch, and the personality. Dank OG’s terpene profile hits like a gospel choir of gas. In concentrate form, these terpenes don’t whisper. They testify.

Dank OG concentrate tastes like someone bottled the smell of a gas station parking lot after a summer rain and then added pine needles for decoration. The flavor profile are made up of heavy diesel, deep earth, sharp pine, a warm, peppery finish, and that unmistakable OG “who turned up the gravity” aftertaste. This is not a dessert strain. This is a “wipe your tools on your jeans and get back to work” strain. Dank OG concentrate hits with the force of a memory you forgot you had. This is also a couch-lock classic. A “don’t make plans” strain. A “why does my blanket feel emotional” strain.

Patients often reach for Dank OG concentrates when they need relief from chronic pain, stress and anxiety, insomnia, muscle tension, overthinking, post-socializing exhaustion, and that feeling where your brain won’t stop narrating your life. The concentrate form makes these effects faster, stronger, and longer lasting.

Dank OG branded concentrates have placed in regional concentrate competitions, often recognized for Best Solvent Concentrate, Best Rosin, and Best Hybrid Extract. Dank OG carries the same award‑winning terpene backbone that judges (and seasoned smokers) consistently fall in love with. It’s that gas, pine, earth, and that unmistakable OG punch.

Each batch of Dank OG, like any cannabis strain, can have slight differences depending on how it’s grown, harvested, cured, and extracted. Terpenes shift. Potency shifts. The vibe shifts. That’s part of the magic. And Dank OG itself has earned recognition in concentrate categories across multiple regional competitions. Its lineage, especially OG Kush, is where the trophy case really starts overflowing. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’

Budtender Moment: Gas Face Strain Review

“I’m not high, I’m just extremely motivated to sit very still.”

-Unknown

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain called Gas Face.

Gas Face is a 70/30 indica-dominant hybrid that is a cross between Face Mints x Biscotti x Sherbet. Face Mints is a cross between Face Off OG x Kush Mints. Biscotti is a cross  between Gelato #25 x South Florida OG. Sherbet (Sunset Sherbet) is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies x Pink Panty. The gassiness in the name is very pronounced in the strain. There is an overtone of diesel flavoring.

Top terpenes for this strain are Limonene, Myrcene and Caryophyllene. Patients report relief from stress, chronic pain, insomnia, and anxiety. From the gassy inhale this strain is a good one. That indica part of the genetics will hit hard. And “couchlock” is very possible. And for some bad anxiety, relief will be very quickly headed your way.

Affirmation: I deserve calm moments without explanation.

Budtender Moment: GMO Infused Preroll Review

“This preroll hit me so hard I forgot what I was mad about and who I was mad at.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy, go away. Now that the vibes are cleansed and the ancestors have been notified. Because we’re about to talk about the GMO infused preroll. It’s the funky little garlic‑diesel diva that shows up uninvited and still becomes the life of the party.

If you’ve ever wanted a preroll that smells like a garlic knot got into a bar fight with a diesel truck and walked away victorious, this is your moment. GMO doesn’t just relax you. It folds you like warm laundry and whispers, “Sweetheart, sit down before you hurt yourself.”

GMO aka Garlic Cookies is an indica-dominant strain. It is a cross between Girl Scout Cookies × Chemdawg. GSC is the glamorous troublemaker born from Durban Poison x OG Kush Chemdawg is legendary, mysterious, and messy. It’s like a Southern family reunion where nobody agrees on who’s related to who. This is the accepted origin story. Unknown Colorado “Dog bud” × Unknown high‑potency mystery strain (Yes, really. The genetics are famously undocumented, debated, and wrapped in lore.) Chemdawg is the parent of Diesel strains, OG Kush lines, and half the modern cannabis family tree. It’s the funky, fuel‑soaked granddaddy of chaos. You’re basically smoking Durban Poison’s uplift, OG Kush’s heavy relaxation And Chemdawg’s diesel funk and brain‑melting potency. No wonder GMO tastes like garlic sautéed in a mechanic’s garage and hits like a spiritual intervention. With the flavor profile being garlic, earth, diesel, and “this tastes like a delicious felony,” you know it has to be good.

The major terpenes in this strain are Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Limonene, and Humulene. Patients report relief from stress and anxiety, pain reduction, sleep support, and appetite boost (even though humulene tries to fight it like a tiny mall cop). And trust me, you’ll sleep. And COUCH LOCK ALERT!

The GMO infused preroll is for the brave, the tired, and the spiritually overbooked. Light it, breathe deep, and let the garlic‑diesel goddess tuck you into the softest mental blanket you’ve ever known. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: “I am calm, I am grounded, and I am absolutely unavailable for nonsense while this GMO settles my spirit.”

PTSD Awareness: Because Trauma Didn’t Ask for Your Job Title Before It Moved In

“PTSD doesn’t check uniforms. It checks histories. And some of us survived wars nobody ever saw.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Today we’re not just cleansing the room. We’re cleansing the generational nonsense that keeps trying to set up a timeshare in our nervous systems. And apparently we’re gonna need both if we’re talking about PTSD. And the world still thinks it only comes issued with a uniform, dog tags, and a government contract.

I’m standing in my kitchen like a bootleg priestess of the Deep South. I’m waving smoke around like I’m trying to reboot the Wi‑Fi of my soul. The sage is burning. The charcoal is crackling. And my cats are staring at me with the same expression Southern aunties use when you tell them you’re “working on your boundaries.”

The air is thick with incense and unprocessed childhood memories. The vibe is “haunted but trying.” The soundtrack is the soft hum of trauma responses warming up like an old truck in winter. And behind me, my cats have formed a semi‑circle like a furry tribunal.

Piper: “Is this the trauma purge or the ‘Mama read another psychology article’ ritual?”

Tinkerbell: “No, this is the one where she tries to heal her inner child but ends up reorganizing the spice cabinet.”

Coco: “I’m only here because she dropped a Cheez-It earlier. And I’m hoping for a sequel.”

Meanwhile, I’m over here trying to explain to the universe loudly, with hand gestures, that PTSD is not some exclusive club where you need a military ID and a buzz cut to get in. Trauma doesn’t check credentials. Trauma doesn’t ask for your DD‑214. Trauma shows up like, “Hey girl, I heard you survived something awful. Mind if I stay forever and rearrange your brain chemistry?” And the universe is like, “Sure, pull up a chair.”

So here we are. Me, my cats, my sage, my charcoal, my trauma, and my determination to laugh about it before it eats me alive. If there’s one thing the South taught me, it’s this, “If you can’t laugh at your pain, it will absolutely laugh at you first.”

Let me set the scene. I’m standing in my kitchen. Sage smoking like I’m trying to summon every ancestor who ever survived a generational curse, a bad haircut, or a church potluck. My cats are watching me like I’m performing a ritual to resurrect the last bag of Temptations.

Piper squints at me.

Piper: “Is this the trauma cleansing or the insomnia exorcism? I need to know which meeting I’m attending.”

Coco: “Wake me up when the stinky flower medicine comes out. That’s when she stops pacing like a raccoon in a Dollar General parking lot.”

Tinkerbell: “Neither. This is the ‘Mama read something online again’ ceremony.”

Every time I talk about PTSD, somebody somewhere says, “But you weren’t in the military.” And I’m like, “Correct. But I was in my childhood. And frankly, that was its own kind of deployment.”  PTSD does not check your résumé. It does not ask for your service record. It does not care if your trauma came from a battlefield, a backwoods childhood, a toxic relationship, a medical emergency, or that one time your mee-maw threw a shoe at you with the accuracy of a Navy Seal. Trauma is trauma. And PTSD shows up like an uninvited cousin at Thanksgiving. It’s loud. Unpredictable. And absolutely refusing to leave. Meanwhile, my cats are holding their own support group.

Piper: “Her insomnia is so bad I’ve started sleeping in shifts.”

Coco: “I tried to keep up once. I saw the sun rise twice in the same day. I’m still not okay.”

Tinkerbell: “I’ve filed a formal complaint with HR. HR is also her. It’s not going well.”

Big Pharma has a pill for everything. Which including the side effects of the pill you took for the side effects of the pill you took for the original pill. And half of them end up in lawsuits. And apparently the medication was also causing spontaneous combustion or turning people into werewolves. Meanwhile, cannabis is over here like, “Hey girl, wanna sit down and breathe for a minute?” And when I pull out the flower medicine, the cats perk up like I just announced a family meeting.

Piper: “Ah yes, peace is coming.”

Coco: “Finally, she’ll stop reorganizing the pantry at 3 AM.”

Tinkerbell: “Blessed be the bud that calms the beast.”

Suddenly the whole house exhales. The walls stop vibrating. The anxiety gremlins go back to bed. The cats reclaim their rightful positions as tiny loaf-shaped monarchs. And with the current state of our nation, the number of people developing PTSD is probably about to skyrocket. We’re all one news headline away from needing a weighted blanket, a therapist, and a federally funded emotional support possum.

If you’ve got PTSD and you didn’t get it from war, guess what? You’re not alone. You’re not broken. You’re not dramatic. You’re not “overreacting.” You’re just a human who lived through some stuff that your brain is still trying to file correctly. And if anyone tries to tell you PTSD is only for soldiers, send them my way. I’ll let 13 explain it. She’s the mean one.

Roll the flower. Because healing isn’t a uniform. It’s a revolution. And in this house, we honor every survivor, every story, and every cat who has ever witnessed a 4 AM trauma spiral and stayed anyway. Thanks for reading! And keep moving forward.

Affirmation: My trauma is valid, my healing is sacred, and I refuse to shrink my story just because someone else can’t imagine surviving it.

Insomnia’s Worst Enemies: A Budtender’s Bedtime Breakdown

“Some strains help you relax. The good ones tuck you in. Snatch your phone. And tell your anxiety to hush its mouth.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy, go away. If insomnia were a sport, half of us would be Olympic‑level, gold‑medal, Wheaties‑box champions. I’m talking wide awake at 3:12 AM staring at the ceiling like it owes you money. I’m talking “why did my brain choose now to remember that embarrassing thing I said in 2009.” I’m talking “melatonin didn’t work so now I’m reorganizing the pantry alphabetically.” Insomnia is rude. Disrespectful. Uninvited. But thankfully, cannabis said, “Hold my leaf.” So, gather ‘round, my sleepless saints. Let’s talk about the top strains that tuck you in tighter than a Southern grandma with a quilt and a warning.

1. Granddaddy Purple (GDP) (Purple Urkle × Big Bud)

The Beyoncé of bedtime strains. GDP doesn’t ask you to sit down. It escorts you to the couch. Removes your shoes. And whispers, “Hush now, baby.” This strain is perfect for racing thoughts, tension in the shoulders, and for people who fall asleep mid‑sentence.

2. Northern Lights (Afghani Landrace Indica × Thai Landrace)

This strain is basically the Aurora Borealis tucking you in with a weighted blanket. It hits with a warm, floaty body high that says, “Shhh. We’re done for the day.” This strain is perfect for overthinkers, people who can’t stop doom‑scrolling, and anyone who needs a cosmic lullaby.

3. Pink Kush (OG Kush × (Unknown Heavy Indica)

Pink Kush doesn’t play. This is the strain that knocks out the friend who “never gets high.” And the friend who “smokes every day” equally. This strain is perfect for insomnia caused by stress. Insomnia caused by anxiety. And insomnia caused by existing.

4. Ice Cream Cake (Wedding Cake × Gelato #33)

Imagine a dessert that punches your insomnia in the throat. That’s Ice Cream Cake. Sweet, creamy, and sedating enough to make you forget you ever had responsibilities. This strain is perfect for nighttime worriers. People who fall asleep on the couch with the TV still on. And anyone who wants to melt into their mattress.

5. Bubba Kush (OG Kush × Unknown Indica)

Bubba Kush is the strain equivalent of a hug from someone who smells like cedar and safety. It slows everything down including your thoughts, your breathing, and your ability to remember why you were mad. This strain is perfect for restless legs, restless minds, and restless souls.

 Newest 2026 strains for Insomnia

6. Moon Blanket (Northern Lights × (Lavender Kush × Blueberry)

A new indica that wraps around you like a quilt your mee-maw prayed over. Expect deep relaxation, heavy eyelids, and the sudden inability to finish your sentence.

7. Velvet Hammer (Purple Punch × (9lb Hammer × Creme Brûlée)

The name says it all. Soft then BOOM. You’re asleep before you realize you were tired.

8. Night Nurse 2.0 (Night Nurse (Original) × GMO Cookies)

The updated version of the classic but stronger, smoother, and sassier. This one tucks you in. Fluffs your pillow. And tells your anxiety to go sit in the hallway.

TIPS FOR USING INSOMNIA STRAINS LIKE A PRO

  • Pair with a warm shower for maximum “I’m melting” effect.
  • Put your phone down unless you want to online‑shop in your sleep.
  • Have snacks ready because the munchies WILL file a complaint if ignored.
  • Don’t fight the sleep when it hits. Surrender like a fainting goat.

And listen. If nobody else has told you today. Let me be the first to say it, “you deserve rest that doesn’t require a wrestling match with your own nervous system.” You deserve sleep that doesn’t feel like a hostage negotiation. You deserve to lay your head down without your brain suddenly deciding to host a midnight TED Talk titled “Every Mistake You’ve Ever Made, Presented in 4K.”

These strains? These aren’t just flowers. These are ancestral sleep aides. These are herbal bouncers escorting insomnia out the back door like, “Ma’am, you’ve had enough.” These are the nighttime deacons of the cannabis church that are laying hands on your forehead and whispering, “Be still.”

Because the truth is that insomnia has been out here acting like it pays rent. Like it contributes to the household. Like it has rights. But tonight? Tonight, we reclaim the night like a Southern auntie reclaiming her good Tupperware.

The next time insomnia tries to slide into your DMs at 2:47 AM with a “you up?” I want you to look it dead in the eye. And say, “Not today, demon. I’m going to bed.” Because if sleep is a myth, these strains are the folklore that finally shuts your brain up. I also want you to spark your chosen sedative queen. Inhale deeply. And respond with the confidence of a woman who has finally had enough. “I’m not up. I’m not available. I’m not interested. I’m unconscious.” Let your shoulders drop. Let your jaw unclench. Let your thoughts dissolve like sugar in hot tea. And when that first wave of relaxation hits with that warm, heavy, “oh Lord I might actually sleep” feeling. I want you to lean into it like you’re falling into the arms of a trustworthy man (rare, I know, but stay with me). Sleep is not a luxury. Sleep is not a reward. Sleep is not something you have to earn by suffering first. Sleep is your birthright. And these strains? They’re here to escort you back to it.

Now go on. Go get the kind of sleep that makes your ancestors proud. Pajamas activated. Dream realm unlocked. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: My mind is calm. My body is safe. And tonight I claim the rest I deserve. Sleep flows easily to me. And I welcome it without fear or fight.

Insomnia Awareness Day: Because Apparently My Thoughts Don’t Believe in Bedtime

“Insomnia: because my brain likes to clock in for the night shift without asking me first.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. It’s Insomnia Awareness Day. And my brain decided to celebrate by hosting a 72‑hour rave without my consent. Lord knows my household has been observing this holiday since 1997 without ever being asked.

I’ve been awake so long I’m starting to see sounds. The refrigerator hum is now a full‑blown gospel choir. The ceiling fan is whispering secrets. And my cats, my emotional support chaos trio, have decided to hold a town hall meeting about my sleep schedule like they’re the HOA of my nervous system. Featuring Piper, Coco, and Tinkerbell, who have slept a combined 47 hours today alone.

Before we even get to the cats, let’s talk about insomnia itself. This ancient demon, nocturnal gremlin, is an unpaid internship in suffering. Insomnia is the only condition where you can be exhausted, delirious, emotionally fragile, and spiritually bankrupt. And still your brain says, “Actually, what if we reviewed every mistake you’ve ever made since kindergarten.”

It’s when your body is like, “We are shutting down.” And your brain is like, “But what if we alphabetize our regrets.” Insomnia is when you lie down to sleep and suddenly your nervous system becomes a TED Talk host. “Tonight’s presentation: Why You Should’ve Said Something Different in That 2011 Argument.”

Insomnia is when you try every trick in the book that includes tea, meditation, breathing exercises, counting sheep. Where the sheep unionize. Demand better working conditions. And then proceed to walk out. It’s when you’re so tired you start negotiating with inanimate objects. “Please, bed. I’m begging you. I’ll flip the mattress. I’ll buy you new sheets. I’ll stop eating crackers in you. Just please.”

Insomnia is when you finally drift off and your brain slams the panic button like: “Wait. Did you pay that bill?” And then, just when you think you might actually fall asleep, your cats, the furry little sleep Olympians, decide to hold a midnight performance of Stomp on your ribcage. Which now brings us to the household council meeting. Check this out.

Me: “I haven’t slept in three days. I think my soul is vibrating.”

Tinkerbell: “Well maybe if you didn’t drink coffee at 9 PM like you’re cramming for finals at DeVry University.”

Piper: “I tried to help. I sat on your chest and purred. That’s medical.”

Coco: “You sat on her airway, Piper. That’s manslaughter.”

Piper: “I was providing weighted blanket therapy.”

Tinkerbell: “Weighted blanket therapy does not involve cutting off oxygen, sweet girl.”

Me: “I just want to sleep. Just a little. A nap. A blink with commitment.”

Coco: “You can’t sleep because your brain is doing that thing where it replays every embarrassing moment you’ve ever had. Like that time, you waved back at someone who wasn’t waving at you.”

Me: “That was 2004.”

Coco: “And yet here we are.”

Piper: “I don’t understand insomnia. I close my eyes and I’m gone. Like a light switch. Like a fainting goat.”

Tinkerbell: “You also fall asleep mid‑sentence. You are not the control group.”

Piper: “One time I fell asleep standing up.”

Coco: “We know. You hit the floor like a sack of wet laundry.”

Me: “Can y’all please help me sleep tonight?”

Tinkerbell: “We tried helping last night. You were finally drifting off and Piper knocked over a lamp.”

Piper: “It was looking at me weird.”

Coco: “Everything looks at you weird. You’re weird.”

Piper: “Thank you.”

Me: “Okay, new plan. Tonight, we’re doing a calming ritual. No chaos. No zoomies. No knocking things off shelves.”

Tinkerbell: “I’ll allow it.”

Coco: “I’ll supervise.”

Piper: “I make no promises.”

And so, on this Insomnia Awareness Day, I honor the sleepless warriors. The restless. The overthinking champions. The midnight snackers and philosophers. The ceiling‑stare champions. And every exhausted soul who has ever whispered, “Why am I awake right now?”

Let’s be honest. If insomnia had a mascot, it would be me pacing the hallway at 3:17 am wearing mismatched socks. Holding a mug of cold tea. And whisper‑arguing with my own reflection like we’re in a low‑budget daytime drama. If there were merit badges for this condition, I’d have the whole sash that reads, “Overthinking at Bedtime,” “Accidentally Remembered Something Cringe,” “Tried Melatonin and Ended Up Cleaning the Pantry,” and the coveted “Awake for No Damn Reason.” I am the Eagle Scout of insomnia. May your mind quiet. Your body rest. And your cats behave for at least seven consecutive minutes. Because if sleep is a myth, then I am the cryptid. Thanks for reading! Get some rest.

Affirmation: I am a sleep‑deprived deity with the power of ten thousand intrusive thoughts. And I will absolutely thrive today whether I slept or not.

Budtender Moment: Bubba’s Wedding Strain Review

“Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax.”

  -Mark Black

Light the sage. Hide the good towels. Something blessed and slightly irresponsible is about to happenAnd as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I love celebrating our right to marry legally. And really, we don’t know how long that will last. Today’s Budtender Moment is dedicated to Bubba’s Wedding.

It’s a strain that feels like somebody spiked the punch bowl with relaxation and then told you to “just vibe, darlin’.” This strain doesn’t walk into the room. It stumbles in, hugs everybody too long, and immediately asks where the food is.

Bubba’s Wedding is an indica-dominant strain. It is a cross between Bubba Kush × Wedding Cake. Bubba Kush is a cross between OG Kush × Unknown Indica. Wedding Cake is a cross between Triangle Kush × Animal Mints. A match made in cannabis heaven and probably officiated by somebody’s cousin who got ordained online at 2 a.m. Together, they create a strain that says, “Sit down, breathe, and don’t start no mess.”

This strain hits like a slow‑motion hug from an uncle who calls you “champ” even if you’re 40. And the effects of this strain are deep relaxation, mood lift, a gentle mental fog that makes everything feel like it has soft edges, and he sudden urge to sit down “just for a second” and wake up 45 minutes later feeling reborn. It’s the perfect strain for when you want to unwind but still maintain enough dignity to answer the door.

Top terpenes in this strain are Myrcene Caryophyllene Limonene, Linalool, and Humulene. Patients report relief from stress, anxiety, pain, sleep support, and emotional recovery after dealing with family group texts. It’s the strain that says, “You’re safe. Drink some water.” And that’s Bubba’s Wedding. The strain that shows up with a casserole, fixes your mood, and then falls asleep on your couch like it pays rent. If this strain had a motto, it would be: “Bubba’s Wedding, cause sometimes you need a break from your own personality.” Now go hydrate, stretch your back, and try not to start any arguments with appliances today.

Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I release the tension I don’t need and welcome the peace I deserve.

Budtender Moment: Bubble Bath Strain Review

“Peace isn’t something you find. It’s something you steep in.”

-This Puzzled Life

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Today we’re stepping into the tub of truth with the strain Bubble Bath. It’s a strain that doesn’t just relax you. It baptizes you in a whole new denomination of “mind your business and moisturize your spirit.”

Bubble Bath is an Indica-dominant hybrid. It’s a cross between  The Soap × Project 4516. The Soap is a cross between Animal Mints × Kush Mints. Project 4516 is a cross between Gelato 41 × Gelato 45. It’s the kind that whispers “sit down somewhere” but with manners. This lineage is basically a family reunion where everybody smells expensive. Nobody brought paper plates. And someone’s aunt is definitely reading tarot in the corner.

Bubble Bath hits like a spa day in a smoke cloud. And the flavors consist of a creamy, soft vanilla, fresh herbal mint, a little floral soapiness (but in a “rich auntie’s bathroom” way, not “hotel lobby dispenser” way), and a lingering sweetness that feels like warm steam on your face.

The terpene profile is Limonene, Linalool, and Caryophyllene. Together they create a “take your bra off and exhale” moment. Bubble Bath is the strain you call when your whole nervous system is filing HR complaints. It may help with chronic stress, anxiety, insomnia, and muscle pain. This is the strain for when you need to be held but by THC instead of a person.

Please keep in mind that depending on differences in grows depends on what area of the country it is grown in. Ther will also be slight differences depending on when, where the plant was grown. Thanks for reading! And keep blazin.’ Have you tried this strain?

Affirmation: I release the noise. I welcome the softness. And I let my spirit settle like warm water.

Budtender Moment: Plum Crazy Strain Review

“Some people meditate. I medicate.”

-Unknown

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about a strain that goes along with Mental Health Awareness Month. And its name is Plum Crazy.

Plum Crazy is an 80/20 indica-dominant hybrid that is a cross between Original Blueberry x Purple Afghani. Original Blueberry is a cross between Afghani x Thai. And Purple Afghani is a cross between Afghani x Purple Kush. This strain has a very distinct blueberry taste. That also has the capability to mellow you out.

Top terpenes in this strain are B-Myrcene, B-Caryophyllene, and Limonene. Patients report relief from conditions like PTSD, insomnia, chronic fatigue, appetite loss, and nausea. Despite it’s indica dominance, it’s not crazy strong. But I would still use it in moderation. For me, any strain that has  Blueberry genetics works great on PTSD for me. I like it a little stronger, but this one is still very good medicine. This is a nice relaxing strain that’s perfect right before bedtime. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I find comfort and tranquility within myself.

Budtender Moment: Alcapulco Gold Strain Review

“My favorite exercise is walking… to the fridge.”

-Unknown

Light the charcoal. Sprinkle the sage. Negative energy go away. Today, I want to tell you about another strain that has been around for ever and ever, Amen. The name is Acapulco Gold.

Acapulco Gold is another sativa-dominant landrace strain. It’s roots trace it back to Acapulco, Mexico on the Mexican coast. And has been traced by to the 60s and 70s when this strain was dominating in cannabis categories. The flavoring notes the flavors of sweet, earthy, and spicy, burnt toffee or caramel, and sometimes citrus or pine depending on the phenotype. And that is what I experienced with the strain that I used. It almost has a patchouli feel in this strain. But the citrus is definitely the dominant flavoring in the strain that I tried.

Top terpenes in this strain are Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Pinene. Patients report relief from depression, stress, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, and insomnia. What I noticed quickly is how much better a mood that I was in. It absolutely turned that frown right side up. Please keep in mind that each grow will be different and the flower’s effects will differ depending on which region of the country that the plant is grown. Thanks for reading! Keep blazin.’

Affirmation: I consume with awareness, gratitude, and respect.
